Burn Permits

May 23, 2008 - Open burning has been suspended during fire season. Open burning is expected to reopen in the late autumn. See notification on Press page dated May 23, 2008.

Issued in accordance with Section 040.035 of the Air Pollution Control Regulations for Washoe County, burn permits are offered to Incline Village/Crystal Bay residents on a seasonal basis, during the fall/winter through spring months. Typically valid for 2 weeks, permits can be extended by calling our administrative office at 775/831-0351, ext. 0 to speak with someone in person. The Fire District's Administrative office is located at 866 Oriole Way and is open Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m. Permits may also be obtained during the weekend, by calling our main fire station #11 at 775/831-0351, ext. 8111 or stop by the station at 875 Tanager Street.
